Dear USACE New York District Chief Richard L. Tomer,

Regarding Public Notice # : NAN-2010-00733-WCA

I oppose the Liberty National Marina Plan. It is important for the USACE to hold a public hearing for a full airing of the consequences of this proposed marina which is too close to the Liberty State Park Public Boat Launch Ramp. I also request that Environmental Impact Studies be done to assess the impact on the Caven Point Cove habitat, and that depth studies be done to assess the need for dredging in the channel - which may be likely for marina boats which can be up to 150 feet long. This marina plan will negatively impact people who use the LSP Public Boat Launch Ramp and those who fish at LSP. The Liberty Landing Marina already exists along the park's northern side and there are other marinas in the area.

Sincerely,
